Rockland Hatzoloh Responded to Over 20,000 Calls in 2025
By Y.M. Lowy
Rockland Hatzoloh responded to 20,010 emergency calls over the past year, serving the community with the help of 300 dedicated volunteers.
The calls included medical emergencies, accidents, and other urgent situations, with Hatzoloh members responding around the clock. Many of the volunteers juggle full-time jobs and family responsibilities, yet drop everything when a call comes in, all with one goal: to help another Yid in need.
A Rockland Hatzoloh spokesperson said, “We don’t look at it as 20,000 calls. We look at it as 20,000 times someone needed help and got a response. That’s only possible because of the dedication of our volunteers. Our volunteers go out day and night, in all weather, with real mesirus nefesh.”
Hatzoloh leadership expressed appreciation to the volunteers and to the community at large, whose ongoing support allows the organization to continue providing fast and professional care throughout Rockland County.
