Rockland County Introduces Digital Park Permits

Rockland County Introduces Digital Park Permits

By Idy Perl

As we get ready for the summer (yes, the summer), Rockland County's Division of Environmental Resources announced an exciting update to the park permit program.

Starting March 3rd, digital park permits will be available to residents and eliminate the need for a physical document, making it easier than ever to enjoy the great outdoors. The permits will be available online and will accept credit card payments.

Alongside the digital upgrade, the county will also be launching a "Get to Know Your Parks" program, a monthly segment which will explore the beautiful parks in Rockland County. Residents will be able to enjoy a virtual walk-through of the many gorgeous nature spots in Rockland, along with photos, videos, and interesting tidbits of information.
