A class of 46 Rockland County firefighter students entered their final month of training last week, and are continuing to build their skills in preparation of becoming firefighters. 

In the last week they spent most of their time outdoors doing hands-on learning and drills. Their training focused on all the details that are involved with operating hose lines, from stretching lines to maneuvering large-diameter hoses, so they can be prepared to use the heavy hoses at fire scenes.
