Rockland County Fire Team Trains for High-Angle Rescues

By Y.M. Lowy

This past weekend, Rockland County’s Technical Rescue Team practiced rescuing people from high places. The team worked on rappelling and carrying “victims” down the side of the Fire Operations Building.

Hands-on training like this ensures that responders are ready to act safely and effectively in real emergencies, keeping the community protected when lives are on the line.
