Rockland County's Fire and Emergency Services Emergency Management Team is preparing for any and all emergency situations.

Earlier this week the Fire and Emergency Services Emergency Management Team conducted important drills at the Indian Point nuclear power plant, which is in the process of decommissioning and will be inoperative in the next few years.

Those critical drills ensure that Rockland County's emergency response teams are ready to respond to all routine and high-stakes situations. 

The Fire and Emergency Services Emergency Management Team thanked all response teams for participating, and for their dedication and commitment to the safety of the local communities.
