Rockland County Fire & Emergency Services Launches “Did You Know?” Friday Series

Starting next week, Rockland County Fire and Emergency Services will be launching a new weekly series titled “Did You Know? Fridays”, aimed at giving the public a behind-the-scenes look at the people, equipment, and training that help keep the county safe.

Each Friday, the department will spotlight a different tool, introduce members of their dedicated team, or share insights into the operations of emergency services. The goal is to increase community awareness and appreciation for the vital work carried out every day by Rockland’s emergency responders.

The initiative promises to be both educational and engaging, with the potential to surprise even longtime residents with facts they never knew about the county’s emergency services infrastructure.
