Rockland County Announces Transit Adjustments for the Holidays

The Rockland County Public Transportation Department has announced transit service adjustments for the holidays.

On Thursday, December 25, Transport of Rockland (TOR) buses will operate Sunday service on most routes, with no service on TOR #94, 95, and 97. TRIPS paratransit buses will offer ADA service only, and the Transit Information Center will be closed.

Tuesday, December 23:

• Metro-North Hudson Line trains will operate a modified schedule with some early getaway trains. Check schedules.

• Haverstraw-Ossining Ferry will operate a regular schedule.

• NJ Transit Main/Bergen (Port Jervis) Line will operate a regular schedule.

• Coach USA Rockland Coaches will operate a regular schedule. Check the website.

Wednesday, December 24 – Christmas Eve:

• TOR buses and TRIPS paratransit will operate regular weekday service.

• Coach USA Rockland Coaches and Coach USA Shortline will operate a modified schedule. Check the website.

• Hudson Link buses will operate regular service.

• Monsey Trails, Clarkstown Mini Trans, and Kaser Village Transit will operate regular service (Monsey Trails: 845-510-5100; Kaser Village: 845-352-2932).

• Metro-North Hudson Line will operate a modified schedule with some early getaway trains. Check schedules.

• Port Jervis Line will operate regular weekday service with some modifications. Check schedules.

• NJT Main/Bergen Line and Pascack Valley trains will operate regular weekday service with some extra trains. Check the website.

• Haverstraw-Ossining Ferry will operate regular service.

Thursday, December 25 – Christmas Day:

• TOR buses will operate Sunday service on TOR #59, 91, 92, 93, and Loop 3. Regular service on Loops 1 and 2. TOR #94, 95, and 97 will not operate.

• TRIPS paratransit buses will offer ADA service only; regular service will not operate.

• Coach USA Rockland Coaches, Coach USA Shortline (Exit 14) Express, and Coach USA Shortline will operate a holiday schedule. Check the website.

• Hudson Link buses will operate weekend service.

• Monsey Trails will operate a holiday schedule. Check the website or call 845-510-5100.

• Clarkstown Mini Trans will not operate.

• Kaser Village Transit, call 845-352-2932.
