Rockland Community Security Initiative Provides Training for Hatzoloh of Rockland

Hatzoloh volunteers attended a special training given by the Community Security Initiative/Jewish Federation of Rockland in partnership with the Ramapo Police Department and arranged by Hatzoloh of Rockland for its members.

The training was done due to the ongoing situation in Israel and the fact that such emergencies are not limited to those living in Eretz Yisroel as long as Hamas terrorists are instigating sympathizers to follow their depraved lead worldwide. As all Jewish communities worldwide are potential targets now more than ever, it is important to prepare Hatzoloh members for disasters and terrorist incidents.

The training took place on Sunday morning at Hatzoloh of Rockland headquarters. Two dozen Hatzoloh volunteers participated in Stop the Bleed training as well as the Roles and Responsibilities for Hatzoloh Members at Complex Scenes -With an Emphasis on the Safety of Hatzoloh Members.

Members who completed the program went away with a deeper understanding of how to deal with emergencies and were also provided with a belt-size Stop the Bleed Kit from the Jewish Federation of Rockland.
