Road Markings Being Repainted in Ramapo

The Rockland County Highway Department is repainting stop lines, stop signs, and crosswalks in Ramapo. Daily traffic wears down the paint over time, and this work helps keep intersections and crossings clear and safe for everyone.

Fred Brinn, Superintendent of Highways, told Rockland Daily that refreshing the road markings every year is important for safety. Faded lines can confuse drivers and make busy intersections more dangerous.

Residents are asked to watch for workers and follow any temporary signs while the work is underway.
