Republican Candidate for Governor, Congresswoman Elise Stefanik, Sends Letter to Skvere Rebbe Congratulating Him on the Wedding of an Einekel

By Yisroel R.

Congresswoman Elise Stefanik, who held a campaign rally earlier today in Rockland County as part of her run for governor, sent a personal letter to the Skvere Rebbe congratulating him on the wedding of his einekel. After hearing of the simcha while in the county, Stefanik reached out directly with warm wishes to the Rebbe and the entire Skvere community.

In the letter, Stefanik wrote:

“Dear Rabbi Twersky,

Mazal Tov on the wonderful news of your granddaughter’s wedding! This is truly a joyous occasion, and I am honored to extend my warmest congratulations to you and your entire family as you celebrate this blessed occasion.”

She then continued by expressing deep respect for the Rebbe’s leadership and the strength and unity of the New Square community.

Stefanik continued:

“As I have had the privilege of learning more about New Square, I have been deeply moved by the extraordinary dedication to faith, family, and tradition that defines the Skver community.”

She ended the letter with warm words for the Rebbe and his family:

“Please know that my heart is with you and your family on this special day. I look forward to meeting in person and supporting the wonderful New Square community in the years ahead.”

The letter comes as the Skvere community celebrates the wedding, adding a warm note from a major political figure during an important simcha for the Rebbe and his family.
