Ramapo Police Upgrade to New Taser 10 Devices
By Rockland Daily Staff
The Ramapo Police Department has officially retired its Taser 7 units and is rolling out the newer Taser 10 devices.
Officials say the upgraded equipment offers improved reliability and is designed to enhance outcomes when using less-lethal force. The department is partnering with Axon as part of the transition, which they say reflects a continued focus on modern technology and public safety.
Police say the move aims to better protect both officers and the community.
