Ramapo Police Department Celebrates 9th Annual Award Ceremony

By Rockland Daily Staff
Earlier today, the Ramapo Police Department proudly hosted its 9th Annual Award Ceremony at the Crowne Plaza. This year's ceremony celebrated the outstanding achievements of our officers, with 54 awards presented across four categories.
Gratitude was extended to Michael Specht, Town of Ramapo Supervisor, Deputy Supervisor Logan, Councilman Rossman, Councilman Wanounou, Councilman Weissmandl, Chief of Staff Montal, and Village Mayors and officials for their sincere support of Ramapo Police Department officers. Special congratulations are in order for Chief Reilly, who was honored with the Ramapo Eagle Award presented by Town officials for his exemplary service and commitment to the Town.
Furthermore, the ceremony welcomed management representatives from Manhattan Beer Distributors, who commended the officers' efforts in apprehending suspects involved in two separate burglaries.
A heartfelt thank you was also extended to the Crowne Plaza for generously providing special desserts for the officers in honor of National Police Week.
This year's ceremony was dedicated to the memory of Kirk Eberling and Willie Brain, two retired officers who sadly passed away in the last year. The Ramapo PD honors and remembers them for their dedicated service.
