Rabbanim Implement 'Mutzu Tov' to Help Wedding Expenses

By Y.M. Lowy
This past Sunday, a gathering took place at the home of the Vizhnitz Rebbe in Monsey to discuss the Mutzu Tov program. Rabbanim from all major kehillahs in the city attended, including both Satmar kehillahs, Belz, Skver, Bobov, Bobov-45, and Pupa, to address the financial burden of making a wedding.
Already successfully implemented in the Vizhnitz Kehilla, this program has helped over two hundred families save millions of dollars on wedding expenses by providing top-quality essentials at the lowest prices.
With the participation of Rabbanim from all major kehillahs in Monsey, the initiative aims to establish new, affordable standards for wedding expenses. A beautiful new location will be opening where Mutzu Tov will offer an entire selection of everything one needs for a Simcha, offering discounted furniture, clothing, shtreimels, and more at prices within reach.
The Rabbanim and Askanim discussed new standards for wedding expenses, including which gifts should be given, what type of furniture and levush is truly necessary, and practical adjustments such as eliminating separate l’chaim and tena’ims and reducing extravagant Sheva Brochos celebrations.
It was also clarified that this program is not a Takana but a tremendous chesed for Klal Yisroel designed to help Yidden make Simchas in a more affordable, practical, and stress-free way.
