Piermont Fire Department Reflects On Wide Range Of Emergency Responses In 2025

By Yisroel R.

The Piermont Fire Department reflected on the wide range of emergency calls it responded to throughout its district and surrounding areas during the 2025 year by releasing photos of several key emergency responses from the past year.

Responses have included fire emergencies, with firefighters responding to structure fires and other fire-related incidents across the district. Beyond fire incidents, the department also responded to search and rescue calls, vehicle accidents, car rollovers, and vehicle extrications.

Because Piermont’s fire district runs along the Hudson River, the department also regularly responded to river rescues and boat emergencies along the Hudson River.

The Piermont Fire Department is a volunteer organization, with members giving of their time to respond to emergencies and serve the community throughout the year.
