Photo Gallery: Uplifting and Intimate Shabbos Spent in Glow of Gerer Rebbe in Pomona

The Gerer Rebbe arrived in the United States at the beginning of last week for an emergency mission of raising astronomical funds to support the enormous Torah world of Ger in Eretz Yisroel. 

The rebbe trekked from door to door, bringing in millions of dollars for the cause of Torah. The week culminated with a historic Shabbos spent in the home of Gur philanthropist R’ Meir Frey in Pomona. 

In attendance were the children of the Rebbe, and the philanthropists from the chassidus who donated millions to the Rebbes fund. 

Here, in the Rebbes sphere, these millionaire businessmen were ordinary chassidim, permeated with fear and love for their Rebbe. 

Throughout the Shabbos, these chassidim surrounded the rebbe, eager for a glimpse into his holy world. 

Tefillos were led by devoted chassidim, and so were the niggunim throughout the Shabbos. 

The entire weekend was permeated with a feeling of awe and reverence and a deep devotion to assisting the Rebbe in his holy work of shouldering the burden of many thousands of chassidim throughout the land of Eretz Yisroel.
