High-Speed Police Chase Ends in Stony Point After Crash and Foot Pursuit

A major police chase that began in Clarkstown and continued throughout Rockland County, including on the Palisades Parkway, ended in Stony Point.

During the pursuit, the suspect drove the wrong way on the Palisades Parkway, crashing into multiple vehicles. The chase came to an end when the suspect entered Schassler Place in Stony Point  a dead-end street and attempted to flee by driving across a grassy area. The vehicle struck a tree, and the suspect fled on foot.

Following a brief foot pursuit, police apprehended the suspect. At least two individuals were taken into custody.
