Palisades Interstate Parkway Closes a Southbound lane due to Bridgework

Due to construction, one southbound lane of the Palisaded Interstate Parkway will remain closed from today, Tuesday, until Friday. 

The closure will be between Exit 9E (Interstate 87) and Exit 8E (US Route 59).

Drivers are cautioned to slow down in the area as fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone.

Moreover, convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of a driver’s license.
