Nyack Memorial Park Reopens After Renovations

Nyack’s Memorial Park Children’s Playground, not too far from Nyack Beach, is finally reopening just in time for summer. The park has been closed for the last few months as it underwent renovations to spruce up the playground. 

The renovations include a new playground section specifically designed for kids ages 2-5, a newly restored baseball field, a rubberized surface across the playground area, and a new walkway that complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act to accommodate those with disabilities.  

The ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place on Friday, May 31st.
