Nyack has been awarded a $4.5 million grant from New York State to help improve its downtown area. The funding, announced today in Poughkeepsie, will support local businesses and upgrade public spaces.
This grant is part of the NY Forward program, which helps small towns and villages grow. The money will be used for projects that make Nyack a better place to live, work, and visit. Community leaders will decide how to use the funds based on local needs.
More details will be shared soon as plans take shape.
