Nyack Announces Upcoming Road Work on Multiple Streets
By Rockland Daily Staff
The Village of Nyack has announced scheduled road work set to begin next week, with milling and paving planned across several local streets.
According to village officials, milling operations are expected to start during the week of April 20 on First Avenue, Marion Street, Jefferson Street, Bridge Street, and Upper Sickles Avenue. Paving work is scheduled to follow during the week of April 27, with each phase anticipated to last approximately two days.
Officials advised residents that driveway access will be temporarily restricted for several hours during the paving process while new asphalt is laid and allowed to set. However, on-street parking will be permitted after milling has been completed on a given block.
The village is urging motorists and residents to plan ahead and exercise caution in work zones as crews carry out the improvements. The project is part of ongoing efforts to maintain and upgrade local infrastructure.
