New Roundabout Opens At Suffern Lane, Hammond Road, and Letchworth Village Road

The new roundabout at the intersection of Suffern Lane, Hammond Road, and Letchworth Village Road in Haverstraw has finally partially opened to traffic. 

Construction will be continuing throughout the winter and traffic patterns will still change as Thiells Mt Ivy Road will be added to the roundabout. 

The current traffic pattern is as follows:

• All Thiells Mt Ivy Road traffic will turn right on Suffern Lane and enter the roundabout, including traffic that intends to go westbound on Letchworth Village Road towards Ridge Road. 
• No left turns onto Thiells Mt Ivy Road from Suffern Lane; all traffic will remain westbound towards Ridge Road. Vehicles will travel Ridge Road to Thiells Mt Ivy Rd.
• Right turns onto Thiells Mt Ivy Road from Letchworth Village Road are allowed.
