New Path Constructed From Route 306 To Viola Park

By Idy Perl
Back in the summer, the Village of Kaser's buses moved to a new property on Route 306, near the Munkatch Yeshivah, that they received from the Town of Ramapo.
Amidst the construction for the large parking lot that now houses all of Kaser's buses and vehicles, the path to Viola Park was cut off and no longer accessible. The parking lot was also located behind the yeshivah building with no direct access, making it difficult for drivers to get in and out.
They have now almost completed construction for a new, direct entrance to the parking lot so vehicles can enter and exit directly to and from Route 306. In addition, a bridge was built over the creek and a new path to Viola Park was created so pedestrians will once again be able to cut through the large lot and easily get to the park.
