Massive Turnout at DMV Pop-Up Event at COC Forces Early Closure; Another Date to Be Scheduled

The Community Outreach Center’s DMV pop-up event, held today, drew an overwhelming response, far beyond expectations, forcing organizers to close the event early after all available slots quickly filled up.

The event, scheduled to run from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, offered on-site processing for Non-Driver ID Cards and upgrades to Real ID or Enhanced ID for both drivers and non-drivers. People began lining up early, and the location soon became packed as residents rushed to take advantage of the convenient, no-appointment service.

Due to the unexpectedly large turnout, the site reached full capacity and has been closed for the remainder of the day. Organizers told Rockland Daily that another date will be arranged to accommodate those who were unable to be serviced today.

Residents who missed out can expect a new date to be announced soon.
