Long Time Trouble Spot on Twin Avenue Focus of Joint Narcotics Operation by Local Law Enforcement

By M.C. Millman
After many months of a constant stream of threats and abusive behavior from the resident of the home, including threats to those at the Zviller Bais Medrash and thefts in the neighborhood where items like bikes or even tefillin could be ransomed by the owner directly to the thief who brazenly demanded payment from the owners or neighbors, a raid on the house was executed early this morning
The much-anticipated raid, which took place around 6 a.m., involved multiple Rockland County agencies, including the Rockland County SWAT Unit, together with the Rockland District Attorney Narcotics Task Force and the Ramapo Police Department, who all worked together.
According to Detective Lieutenant Chris Franklin, who spoke with Rockland Daily, the roads which were shut down in the area due to police activity have since reopened.
The investigation remains ongoing.
