Local Rescue Teams Help Search for Missing Swimmer at Local Marina

A possible drowning incident occurred this afternoon at Long Pond Marina in Greenwood Lake.

Initial reports indicated that a person was in distress, with a life vest observed floating, but the individual did not resurface.

Emergency responders, including the Monroe and Stony Point Dive Teams, Greenwood Lake Fire Department, Piermont Fire Department, and the U.S. Coast Guard, are on the scene conducting search and rescue operations. Further updates will be provided as the situation progresses.
