Kevurah in Monsey: The Liska Rebbetzin U"h

With a saddened heart, we inform you of the passing of the Liska Rebbetzin, Mrs. Malka Friedlander, who passed away this morning at age 77.

The Rebbetzin, a daughter of Harav Yakov Yitzchok and husband of Yblch"t the Liska Rebbe Shlit"a, was famously known for her warm greetings and heartfelt interest in everyone she met, whether in Shul, on the streets, or wherever she went.

Sadly, she suffered a heart attack yesterday evening and passed away this morning at the young age of 77.

The levaye took place this afternoon at 1:00 pm in front of the Liska Shul, 1449 50th Street, where she poured out her heart to the Creator she just returned her soul to.

The Mitah is now en route to Monsey, Kevurah will be shortly in the Har Shulem cemetery in Airmont.
