The National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory for parts of New York, Connecticut, and New Jersey, including Rockland County.

The Heat Advisory is in effect from 11am Wednesday until 10pm Thursday. The temperature is expected to rise to the mid-90's, with the real feel at around 100 degrees due to the combination of heat and humidity.

Residents are urged to take precautions, drink plenty of water, and stay out of the heat as much as possible.
