HEARTBREAKING: Petirah of HaBucher Yosef Shia Friedman A”h, Son of R’ Eliezer (Eli) Friedman

Klal Yisroel is reeling from the devastating news of the petirah of HaBucher Yosef Shia Friedman A”h, the beloved son of the legendary R’ Eli Friedman.

Just three weeks ago, Yosef Shia was tragically electrocuted at his summer camp and suffered severe injuries, only days before his sister’s wedding. In the weeks since, Yidden across the globe united in heartfelt tefillos and kabbalos - reciting countless kapitlach Tehillim, increasing in Torah and mitzvos, and strengthening achdus in his zechus.

Tragically, the heartbreaking news came today that he was niftar, leaving behind a grieving family and an entire community shaken to its core.

The Levaye of Habucher Yosef Shia, son of Yblch"t R' Eli Friedman, will take place 10:30am at the Satmar Shul, 13 Monsey Blvd.
