Gov Hochul Puts Infrastructure Plan Into Action

Governor Hochul announced yesterday that work on three bridges will be getting started as part of her $10.1 million transportation infrastructure plan.
The plan will make use of recyclable components of the former Tappan Zee Bridge, now the Gov Mario M. Cuomo Bridge, from when it was redone a few years ago.
“These bridge projects will provide improved mobility and resiliency for decades to come, making it easier for residents and visitors alike to travel through the Western Southern Tier and enjoy all the region has to offer,” Gov Hochul announced. “And by using recycled components from the Tappan Zee Bridge, we are also saving time and reducing costs.”
