Fire Tears Through Home in Spring Valley

A major structure fire was burning this morning at 8 Wolfe Drive in Spring Valley, drawing a large response from multiple fire departments. Officials say the vacant house was fully engulfed, with firefighters attacking the flames from every side as the fire continued to spread.
The street has been closed so emergency crews can work safely. No injuries have been reported at this time.
Fire departments that participated at the scene include Spring Valley, Hillcrest, Monsey, New City, South Spring Valley, West Nyack, and Orangeburg. Hatzoloh, Spring Hill EMS, and Spring Valley Police also assisted at the scene.
Heavy smoke was seen rising above the neighborhood and can be seen from far away, showing the intensity of the fire as crews continue their efforts to bring it under control.
