Election Day Is Here!

After what felt like a decade of an election cycle, Election Day has finally arrived!

Polling sites are open today from 6AM-9PM, and there are several sites around Rockland County.

Rockland County residents will be voting for several things today:

President/Vice President

• Kamala D. Harris /Tim Walz (D)
• Donald J. Trump /JD Vance (R)

Congress

US Senate: 

• Kirsten E. Gillibrand (D)
• Michael D. Sapraicone (R)
• Diane Sare (Larouche)

U.S House District 17:

• Mike Lawler (R)
• Mondaire Jones (D)
• Anthony Frascone (W)

NY State Senate

• Elijah Reichlin-Melnick (D)
• Bill Weber (R)
• Barabara J. Francis (W)

NY State Assembly 

• John McGowan (R)
• Aron Wieder (D)
• Thomas F. Sullivan (C)

In addition, New Yorkers are also voting today on Proposition 1, which voters can find by flipping over their ballot to the back. Our Askanim are encouraging their constituents to vote NO on Prop 1, arguing that the proposition is a case of constitutional overreach as it seeks to change the New York constitution and assign rights to various groups, including some of which are against Torah values.
