Early Sunday Morning Police Pursuit Ends in Arrest on Mallory Road, Spring Valley

At around 1:00 a.m. early Sunday morning, a vehicle pursuit that began on New Clarkstown Road in Spring Valley ended with two arrests after the driver refused to pull over for a New York State Trooper.

According to initial reports, the trooper attempted a traffic stop on New Clarkstown Road when the vehicle failed to comply, prompting a pursuit. The chase continued onto West Clarkstown Road, then East Eckerson Road, before finally coming to a stop on Mallory Road.

The vehicle pulled into the driveway of 51 Mallory Road, where the pursuit ended and two individuals were taken into custody.

Ramapo Police and the Rockland County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
