A driver was airlifted to the hospital after his car went off the Palisades Parkway earlier this morning.
The incident occurred at around 5AM on the 9W Exit ramp from the northbound Palisades Parkway to the northbound New York Thruway, where the car fell approximately 200 yards into the woods, throwing the driver out of the car and pinning him underneath.
He wasn’t discovered until around 6:30AM, and emergency services quickly came on scene to extract him. He was airlifted to the hospital and no further information is available on his condition.
