Downed Wires Cause Power Outage In Airmont

There is currently an outage in the New County Road area in Airmont. 

The outage was caused by a few large trees branches that fell and took down some electrical wires. Roughly 650 households are currently without power. 

Monsey and Tallman Fire Departments, as well as Ramapo Police and O&R are currently on scene. O&R estimates that the power wil be back on by 1:36pm. 


Update: As of 12:15 O&R reports that around 300 households have already gotten their service restored.
