Developing: Heavy Police Response To Person Barricaded In Suffern Home

A large police presence is currently on scene in Suffern where a person has barricaded themselves in a home at 536 Kensico Court. 

The Suffern Police Department has warned residents in the Knolls area of Suffern to shelter in place and remain in their homes until further notice as the situation is handled. The area near the residence is currently locked down and multiple law enforcement departments including the Suffern Police, a SWAT team, Rockland Sheriff, and Faist EMS, are on scene.
