Community Security Initiative Hosts Pre-Passover Security Briefing in Rockland County
Yisroel R.
Community leaders and law enforcement officials gathered tonight for a Pre-Passover security briefing organized by the Community Security Initiative (CSI) ahead of the upcoming Yom Tov season.
The meeting, held for registered participants, brought together representatives from the Rockland County Police Chiefs Association, the Rockland County Sheriff’s Office, the Town of Ramapo, the Town of Clarkstown, Chaverim of Rockland, and the Anti-Defamation League (ADL). The briefing focused on security awareness and coordination as the community prepares for the busy Passover season.
Officials discussed ways for local agencies and community organizations to work together to enhance safety, share information, and respond quickly to potential concerns during the holiday season, when many families travel and large gatherings take place.
Congressman Mike Lawler attended the meeting as well and gave remarks regarding the importance of keeping the community safe, especially during sensitive times such as the holiday season, when families and friends gather in larger groups.
The initiative is part of an ongoing effort by the Community Security Initiative and local law enforcement to strengthen communication and preparedness within Rockland County.
