Community Outreach Center To Host Annual Safety Awareness Day for Kids

The Community Outreach Center will be hosting its Annual Safety Awareness Day For Kids this Sunday, May 18th. 

All local families are invited to participate from 2:30pm-5pm, in the front of the COC building at 21 Remsen Avenue. This exciting event will be packed with safety activities for children and families, including multiple booths with hands-on activities and information, and an activity book focused on pedestrian and car safety will be distributed to all participants. Some of the other exciting events include: 

·         Free bike helmet distribution

·         Raffle of 50 car seats

·         Safety materials and handouts

·         Refreshments

Officers from the Ramapo Police Department will be present to speak with the children about pedestrian safety and important safety information.
