Appreciation Evening Held for the Wives of Rockland Hatzoloh

An appreciation event honoring the wives of Rockland Hatzoloh members was held recently and proved to be a long overdue resounding success. Baruch Hashem, the turnout was exceptional, with nearly 100 percent of the Hatzoloh wives in attendance.

The evening opened with heartfelt remarks from one of the Hatzoloh wives, who served as the MC. The featured guest speaker, Mrs. Juravel, delivered an inspiring address talking about the often unseen sacrifices of Hatzoloh wives and the immense mitzvah they share every time their husbands respond to a call. She emphasized that while much of this sacrifice goes unnoticed, its impact is deeply felt.

A particularly moving moment followed when a woman from outside the Hatzoloh organization shared her personal story, expressing profound gratitude to the Hatzoloh wives. She spoke about how Hatzoloh saved her life and stressed that the wives, through their constant support and understanding, are true partners in every lifesaving mission.

The MC then shared her own powerful personal story from 15 years ago, recalling how Hatzoloh saved her son after a major car accident. She described how, during that difficult time, Mrs. Landau from the Refuah Helpline guided her through critical medical moments, offering clarity and direction during an overwhelming experience.

Mrs. Landau of Monroe, representing the Refuah Helpline, was then formally introduced. She provided a behind-the-scenes look at what takes place in medical situations, explaining how coordination and decision-making unfold in real time. Her presentation gave the women a deeper understanding of the critical roles played beyond the scene itself and the strong partnership between Hatzoloh and the Refuah Helpline.

The program concluded on a joyful note with Mrs. Friedman of Monroe, a comedian who entertained the audience for nearly an hour with relatable, heartfelt, and humorous stories, many centered around Hatzoloh life. 

As a special touch, each woman received a meaningful gift, along with a special present for her children. The event was held at Fireside, and heartfelt appreciation was extended to Mr. Brachfeld for generously providing the venue and exceptional food, which greatly enhanced the evening.
