Airmont Announces Earlier Recycling Pickup Times on Several Streets

The Village of Airmont has notified residents that recycling collection will begin much earlier in the morning on a number of streets throughout the village.

Officials are urging residents on the affected streets to place their recycling bins at the curb the night before pickup or no later than 6:00 a.m. on their scheduled recycling day to avoid missing collection.

The streets affected by the change include Augur Road, Autumn Court, Bell Court, Brigitte Court, Brookside Avenue, Campbell Avenue, Cragmere Road, East Haskell Avenue, Farview Terrace, Hemion Way, Kristoffersen Court, Larch Court, Litchult Court, Marybeth Drive, Margo Court, North Amundsen Lane, Quincy Court, Sabin Drive, Skylane Court, South Airmont Road, South Amundsen Lane, South Van Dyke Avenue, Stonemeadow Lane, and Van Orden Avenue.

Village officials apologized for any inconvenience caused by the change and encouraged residents to adjust accordingly to ensure their recycling is collected.
