Accident Downs Live Wires On West Carlton Road

Several emergency response teams as well as O&R are on the scene following an accident that caused downed live wires on West Carlton Road.

A vehicle driving on West Carlton Road lost control and crashed into a utiity pole near the corner of Whisper Lane. Hatzolah, Faist EMS, Ramapo PD, and Tallman and Monsey FD responded to the scene and treated one patient for minor injuries. 

The road is currently shut down while O&R responds to repair the live wires on the road. Many homes in the area are currently experiencing power outages.
