World’s Largest Astronomy & Space Expo Taking Place at RCC on Sunday

Rockland Astronomy Club, Inc. (RAC), a non-profit astronomy education and outreach organization, will hold an astronomy, space, and telescope show on Sunday, April 16, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The 90,000 sq. ft. showroom will be filled with the latest astronomy and optical gear, telescopes of all types and sizes, binoculars, mounts, accessories, books, toys, and meteors. There will also be hourly door prizes, raffle prizes, children’s science programs, and entertainment, including a gyroball ‘anti-gravity’ ride, a comet-building demonstration, and much more.

The event will take place at Rockland Community College, located at 145 College Road in Suffern and will include more than 120 vendors from around the globe, astronomy workshops, Pro/Am conferences, planetarium shows, book signings, beginner’s classes, daily solar observing, and an astro-imaging gallery featured on the 90,000 sq. ft. showroom, America’s largest telescope exhibitor floor. Guest speakers will be featured throughout the day.
