Weeklong Search for A Suspect Ends at Palisades Mall

A weeklong search for a suspect in connection to a domestic altercation was concluded when the suspect was found near the Palisades Mall yesterday, May 13. 

Ramapo Police had been searching for a suspect who broke into a home and waved a knife threateningly at a female, in front of her child, before fleeing the scene. Ramapo Police and other agencies began an active search for the suspect. While the search was still ongoing, Ramapo Police received a report about a past assault involving the same suspect. 

With the help of Clarkstown Police, Rockland Sherif, and Spring Valley Police, the suspect was finally found near the Palisades Mall and was charged with Assault, Burglary, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child, among other charges.
