Weekend Weather: Well, I Don’t Think We Need To Worry About The Drought Anymore

By Idy Perl
Well, well, well, the drought certainly took a sharp turn overnight. Monsey was blanketed with around 2.2 inches of snow, and although it might not completely refill the reservoirs and end the drought warning, it certainly lowers the risk of more brush fires starting.
The rain is expected
to continue throughout the day today and into the evening, and strong gusts are
possible as well. The temperature will go up to 42 degrees.
The weather will improve on Shabbos with a mix of sunshine
and some clouds. The strong winds will still continue, but it’ll be a
bit warmer at 51 degrees.
Sunday will start out sunny, but clouds will move in in the
afternoon together with some strong winds once again. The temperature will be
55 degrees.
