By Y.M. Lowy

Following a series of car break-ins, the Village of Airmont is taking action to enhance community safety.

In a letter to residents, the Village Board announced a partnership with the Ramapo Police Department to increase patrols and has also enlisted Chaveirim for nightly neighborhood monitoring.

Residents are urged to lock car doors, remove valuables from sight, and report suspicious activity to authorities. These measures aim to help keep Airmont safe and secure for everyone.
