Veolia Launches Water Affordability Program

The Veolia Water Company recently announced the launch of their Water Affordability Program, and is the first water company in New York to offer a discount to low-income households. 

Under the Veolia Water Affordability Program eligible households can receive up to a 25% discount on their monthly water bills. These customers will also get a one-time waiver of the reconnection fee if their water gets shut off due to non-payment. 

Customers who have previously been enrolled in the state's Low Income Household Water Assistance Program (LIHWAP) will be automatically enrolled in Veolia's program, but all other customers have to submit an application to receive the discount.
