Updated: Roadwork Alert: Palisades Interstate Parkway Closure

Due to rain in the forecast, the tree removal scheduled for the southbound exit 12 ramp on the Palisades Interstate Parkway has been pushed off until Thursday, August 31.

The southbound exit 12 ramp on the Palisades Interstate Parkway will be closed on Wednesday, August 30th, from 9:30 a.m. - 2 p.m. for tree removal. 

Work will only affect the southbound exit ramp. The southbound Palisades entrance ramp at Exit 12 / New York Route 45 will remain open. The closed ramp traffic will be detoured to exit 11 southbound to access  Route 45. An electronic message board and detour signs will be posted to direct traffic.

In the event of inclement weather, work will take place on Thursday, August 31st.
