Update: Suspect Charged After Homicide in Spring Valley

The Spring Valley Police Department has made an arrest in the death of 36-year-old Carolyn Canela, a resident of 149 Sneden Place West in Spring Valley.
Canela was pronounced dead at the scene by Rockland Paramedic Services when police responded to a call to her home.
Warle Fernandez-Arias, 37-year-old, who lives at the same address, was arrested and is believed to be responsible for her death.
The ongoing homicide investigation is believed to be domestic-related.
Fernandez-Arias is currently in the custody of Spring Valley Police pending arraignment in the Spring Valley Justice Court.

Spring Valley police confirmed that they have a suspect in custody with regard to a homicide at an apartment complex in Spring Valley, as per News12.

Officers are busy at the location, which has been cordoned off with tape.
