Union Road Closed As Major Pavement Project Begins
By Idy Perl
Milling has officially begun on Union Road in preparation of the major pavement project that will be completed over Shabbos. The long awaited project will completely resurface two miles of Union Road, between Viola Road and Maple Avenue, to get rid of the many bumps and potholes that currently fill the street.
Union Road between Viola and Morris Road is currently closed to traffic, and drivers should expect traffic delays in the area. The milling work will continue tomorrow as well, and the paving will take place on Shabbos to minimize traffic disruptions.
