Town of Ramapo to Offer Defensive Driving Course

The Town of  Ramapo will offer a National Safety Council approved defensive driving class. 

The six-hour course will teach defensive and driving techniques following the NSC guidelines. Upon completing the course, students will be eligible to get a 10% reduction on their collision insurance premiums. 

The course will be offered on Sunday, November 5, and Thursday, January 4. The Sunday classes will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The Thursday class will start and end half an hour earlier. There will be a hour  break for lunch.

Ramapo residents will be charged $30, while non-residents will pay a $35 fee. The class will take place at the Ramapo Learning Center located at 255 on Route 59 in Airmont.
