TONIGHT: Inaugural Conference for Nonprofits on ‘Workers Rights’ Legalities

By: Yitzy Fried

This evening, an important conference will take place at the Yeshiva Spring Valley in which leaders of yeshivas, schools, and other non-profit organizations will hear from professionals in the field on proper employee relations.

The laws governing workers' rights are complex, and seemingly-innocent moves can result in costly complications for the employer.

In recent years, a number of institutions around the community have learned this reality the hard way. This conference is an effort to avoid these painful incidents in the future.
